Canyon Ranch (Lenox, Massachusetts): Initiated and organized field trips for graduate students in Hospitality and Leisure Management at the Johnson & Wales University’s Hospitality College in Providence, Rhode Island.  During these educational field trips, I gave presentations on the history of spas and the European spa industry to students, as well as managers of the Canyon Ranch.  www.canyonranchlenox.com


PGA National Resort & Spa: Initiated comprehensive research on the productivity of Spa Programming Department "Spa Reservations" including problem analysis.  Complete review, revision and restructuring of the PGA Spa Training Manual.


Nemacolin Woodlands Resort:  Conducted training of front desk and support staff in customer service and spa etiquette. Comprehensive problem analysis for Front Desk Operations and Internal Operations and composed a detailed report that was key in improving the spa operation, as well as staff development, to those in charge of the Spa at this Five Diamond resort and spa. www.nemacolin.com/spa


SONESTA Island Resort (Key Biscayne, Florida): conducted comprehensive training seminars for spa employees, as well as consultation work.  www.sonesta.com/corporate


Day Spa Association (Day Spa Business Bible):  Stella Gustafsson, former Advisory Board Member of the Day Spa Association was tasked with assisting in developing, creating and implementing the Day Spa Association "Day Spa Business Bible".  Stella served as Editor in Chief in reviewing the various articles submitted by experienced and well-revered members of the spa industry.  

Spa Academia successfully completed its project initiatives relating to the Day Spa Business Bible and submitted all materials, resources and data to to senior management at the Day Spa Association. After putting so much time, energy and hard work into this particular consulting project via Spa Academia, the "Bible" was not either printed or made available for sale through the Day Spa Association

Spa Academia has also offered spa training seminars in the Canary Islands; trained all spa staff at the Planet Pulse Spa in Iceland and, been in charge of therapeutic spa sessions at SPOEX in Iceland.
